Our Constitution

Identity

Our Identity Is Not Just a Slogan… It Is a Commitment and a Path

Identity is not merely a symbol we adopt or a name we carry—it is the soul that breathes life into our foundation, shaping our path and guiding every step we take. That is why we place our identity at the heart of the Rawahil Foundation Constitution, ensuring it reflects our values and defines our interactions with society and our partners. Through this identity, we reaffirm our commitment to the core values that form the foundation of a progressive and knowledge-driven society.

01
Religious Identity
Rawahil Foundation adopts Islamic teachings as its primary belief system and ethical framework, shaping its values, thought, and development initiatives. We consider ourselves part of the Islamic Ummah, affected by its struggles and striving to be active contributors to its progress.
02
Ethnic Identity
We take pride in Libya’s rich ethnic diversity, embracing Arabs, Tebu, Tuareg, and Amazigh communities. We reject all forms of discrimination based on religion, sect, ethnicity, language, wealth, gender, political views, social status, tribal or regional affiliation, or family background.
03
Political Identity
We believe that Libya is an independent, democratic state built on the principles of political pluralism. We firmly oppose any form of division or the relinquishment of any part of Libya’s sovereignty.
04
Linguistic Identity
Arabic is the primary language for all internal and external communications. We strive to maintain Classical Arabic whenever possible while also recognizing and utilizing local dialects and indigenous languages (Amazigh, Tebu, and Tuareg) when necessary to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all Libyans.
05
National Identity
Rawahil Foundation is headquartered in Tripoli, Libya, and all founders, members, and activists are either Libyan citizens or legally residing individuals committed to serving Libya’s development.
06
Institutional Identity
At Rawahil, we see ourselves as more than just members of a reform-driven initiative—we are a family connected by strong bonds of mutual support. We share concerns, challenges, and aspirations, working together with team spirit and unity. By standing by one another, we strengthen our collective resilience, overcome obstacles, and achieve our shared goals.
One Team… A Shared Vision… A Lasting Impact
